An essay and accompanying video-essay tackling common arguments against AI in art and making the case for why it should be viewed as an opportunity rather than a threat to artists.
Originally written for UCL's film society journal following an investigation for an anthropology course, the project is based on research conducted during my second year of university. This process involved interviewing audiences, emerging artists and AI artist @fullwarp as well as academic research and hands-on experience from the BA Media program's Creative AI and Machine Learning course.
